A five-time Grammy nominee, Jeffrey Steele has been recognized by Broadcast Music, Inc. James Slater is a two-time, Grammy nominated, piano-playing, bilingual singer-songwriter of Bolivian American descent signed to BMG Music Publishing in Nashville, Tennessee. Slater was born in Durham, North Carolina, and raised in the Panama Canal Zone in Central America.

Keith Urban, Willie Nelson, Tim McGraw, Enrique Iglesias, Rascal Flatts, Carrie Underwood, Lady Antebellum, Kenny Chesney, Kelly Pickler, Alabama, Reba McEntire, Gloriana, Martina McBride, Chris Brown, Chris Young and a host of others have recorded his songs. His Grammy nominations include Jamey Johnson's "The High Cost of Living," country song of the year, and Martina's “In My Daughter’s Eyes,” which is a modern-day standard.

James lived in Zurich Switzerland for six years touring, recording and writing with Belgian super group Vaya Con Dios and has traveled the world from Panama to Dublin and from Spain to Havana. Slater’s “Key West Address" is a love letter to the island, so much so that the mayor of Key West has awarded him the "Keys to the City" and proclaimed the song as the island's official theme. David Lee Murphy is best recognized by his massive hit single “Dust On The Bottle”. But he is also known as one of Country Music’s best songwriters . He has written songs for superstar artists like Kenny Chesney, Hank Williams, Jr. and many others. David Lee Murphy inducted into the Songwriter Hall of Fame in 2023.

Pursuing a career in music, Murphy moved to Nashville. He also formed a band, The Blue Tick Hounds. Several rough demos of Murphy’s compositions, including the song “Party Crowd” caught the attention of MCA executives who passed Murphy’s music along. Murphy signed as an artist to MCA Records shortly after. Murphy’s debut platinum selling album for the label. Including a string of hits like title track “Out With A Bang”, “Fish Ain’t Bitin’” and “Just Once”, which was featured in the movie 8 Seconds about bull rider Lane Frost. Also on that album were the hit singles “Party Crowd” and the #1 single “Dust On The Bottle”. Both songs have become staples in Country Radio.

He has earned over two dozen songwriting awards for songs he has written for superstars like Kenny Chesney (“Here And Now”, “Live A Little”, “Living In Fast Forward”, “Pirate Flag”, “’Til It’s Gone”); Jason Aldean (“Big Green Tractor”, “The Only Way I Know”); Jake Owen (“Anywhere With You”); Thompson Square (Grammy-nominated “Are You Gonna Kiss Me Or Not”); Kip Moore (“Last Shot”); Justin Moore (“Why We Drink”); Gary Allan (“A Feelin’ Like That”); Josh Thompson (“Way Out Here”) and Blackberry Smoke (“Good One Coming On”).

It wasn’t until 1975 that Dillon caught the attention of Music Row mogul Tom Collins. After signing with Collins for $50 a week, within three weeks he had three songs on Barbara Mandrell’s album Friends, Lovers, and Strangers.

Writing constantly, he teamed up with fellow songwriter Gary Harrison—of “Strawberry Wine” fame—and the two scored their first number one record with a song called “Lying in Love with You” by Jim Ed Brown and Helen Cornelius in 1979.

That same year, Dean met up-and-comer George Strait through friend and producer Blake Mevis. To date, no one in country music has enjoyed a more fruitful relationship than Dillon and Strait. With an amazing 80 songs recorded by Strait alone, the duo have topped the charts together several times.

Along the way, Dillon has also had songs recorded by everyone from Wayne Newton, Alabama, Toby Keith, and Keith Whitley to the legendary talents of George Jones, Lee Ann Womack, and Kenny Chesney.

Dillon doesn’t just love writing—he eats, sleeps, and breathes it. It’s fair to say he is among the most well-known songwriters of his generation. At 57, he’s still cranking out hits. Married to his wonderful wife Susie, he spends most of his time in Gunnison, Colorado.

In recent years, he’s enjoyed writing sessions with George Strait and Strait’s son Bubba. The fruits of their labor are evident on George’s latest smash, Here for a Good Time.

One thing’s for sure—between restoring classic cars and churning out hits, he’s always got the country music he loves on his ever-lovin’ mind.

In 2006 and 2016, respectively, Lindsey won two Grammy Awards for Best Country Song for Carrie Underwood's "Jesus, Take the Wheel" and for Little Big Town's "Girl Crush".[2][3] In 2011, Lindsey received an Academy Award nomination for "Coming Home", recorded by Gwyneth Paltrow for the soundtrack of Country Strong, in the Best Original Song category. Paul Overstreet is a two time Grammy Award winning, country music singer-songwriter. He is in the NSAI Songwriter's Hall of Fame, and received multiple ACM, CMA, and Dove Awards. He was BMI Songwriter of the Year for 5 years in a row. Not only has he written hits for himself, as a solo artist and also as a member of the group SKO, Paul has also penned #1 songs for fellow country acts, including Randy Travis, Blake Shelton, Kenny Chesney, Tanya Tucker, Keith Whitley, Allison Krauss, The Judds, Ronnie Milsap, and George Jones, The Forrester Sisters, and many more.
